| Well, Well, Well, I knew I'd have my work cut out today as the Download line up go's public tonight (I already know the 1st announcement - HA!) But never did I think I would be waking to all this commotion... The announcement was made very bluntly by drummer, Travis Barker announcing "We used to play music together, and we decided we're going to play music together again" - To which Bass player Mark Hoppus added "Blink Is Back" The band's website, quickly backed these statements up by posting an update that the guys are back together, and will be recording a new album this year! At the time of writing this article (7:21AM - Monday Feb 8th) www.Blink182.com is offline. A statement released to Scorpio Review from the band read: "To put it simply, We're back. We mean, really back. Picking up where we left off and then some. In the studio writing and recording a new album. Preparing to tour the world yet again. Friendships reformed. 17 years deep in our legacy." The rumor mill is now running wild again on the net - Does it ever not? - that the band will open for Green Day this summer, but details have not been announced.
