Intro:
Brooklyn-based underground rock hero's The Hold Steady are back again
in 2010 with the brand new 5th - and possible most anticipated album, of
there 6 year discography. With the release of there last album 'Stay
Positive' the band reached what some will call the mainstream with there
mild chart success, reaching #15 in the UK and #30 in the US, will this new
found music appreciation create an even better position for the next
album?

Track Review:
The new album has been described as band members as a venture into
cinematic soundscapes & musical scores - pretty high brow for the
Brooklyn rockers really... But you can tell from the 1st few seconds that
there is something of an 'epic' feel to the new album, that being said the
tracks life seems short-lived, with Craig's vocals sounding just slightly off
from the 1st line. The Hold Steady have never been to everyone's taste,
and this track is sure to continue that trend.

Sounding like a slightly disjointed Bowling For Soup - with less of a feel
good factor, I'm not sure this track is going to live up to the hype so to
speak

6/10 - Not a bad track, but nothing new at all guys
