Track Review:
"Cath" creates a laid back atmosphere, with Gibbard's mellow vocal cutting
through the mix and effect laden guitars underlying, at times playing
against each other creating a diverse texture. With a slow progression,
there is space for each instrument.

There is also a sense of the guitar melody mimicing the vocal melody at
times, which reinforces the space-like, reverb-heavy sound, which is
somewhat busy with the percussion in the background.

The contrast to this is the bridge where the vocal and guitar melodies are
prominent, and the drumming is minimal.

This song feels like it should build up to a dramatic end, but as it doesn't, it
makes it seem quite anticlimactic.
